With immediate effect, Kinetics is no longer a Brompton dealer.
This was completely unexpected, and at the moment I don’t feel able to go into details, except to say that Brompton’s version of what went wrong between us is very different to mine. I will, perhaps, be able to say more soon.
Waiting Customers: If you are waiting for a Brompton from me, you should already have received an email – if not, please get in touch.
Current Owners: I am still very happy to look after, service or repair any Brompton, with one proviso: my stocks of some spares are running a bit low.
Modifications: I am still able to do all my Brompton modifications – 8-speed conversions, electric motors, etc. I’ve got some new ones on the way too – including a recumbent Brompton.
On a personal level, this has been a big shock for me – I’ve been a Brompton dealer for more than 10 years, and I’ve worked on them for about 15 years. I’m still very happy to give advice on Bromptons, though of course I might try to swing you towards a Birdy or a Frog
