New from Riese & Muller, the Kendu hybrid is a compact electric bike with 20″ wheels. It was developed for uncomplicated urban mobility by combining the comfort of an everyday bike with the benefits of a folding bike. The frame design is based on their Culture hybrid and is supported by their decades long folding bike experience with the Birdy.
Because of the angle and height adjustable stem and adjustable seat post, the Kendu hybrid can be adjusted to accommodate almost anyone. The powerful Bosch motor and battery housed unobtrusively in the back of the frame mean the Kendu doesn’t look like an electric bike but it’s still got power to help with hills and headwinds. Although not a folding bike, the small wheels and folding stem mean it can be very quickly stored in a smaller space than a normal bike, or in a corridor.
The Kendu hybrid is offered with the NuVinci continuously variable hub or the automatic NuVinci Harmony hub and is available in white with orange accents and in red or silver.
