This was a fun bike to build, with loads of upgrades – Rohloff hub and Hope discs of course, but also Brooks saddle and grips, Hope headset, SON lighting and some Brompfication upgrades.
This was a new chainset to try too, quite a retro look!

Ben, very nice looking crankset… I should have hassled you more when ordering my bike… I still love my kigger… Considering cross continent this summer, if the stars line-up…
It was an experiment trying this crankset, but it works nicely – would be easy to retrofit it if you wanted to.

The crankset looks great – what is it please? Have you tried any other non-Brompton cranksets. Anything in black?
It’s a Genetic Heritage – very nicely made. I don’t have anything specific in black, I’ve used Touro in the past when I can get them.
