The brief was to build the ultimate commuter bike...

So we built a stunning 853 frame with steel Tubus racks front and rear...

Ready to take to the road

...and an Air Zound air horn...

Triple triangle design from the 1930s...

...Newk bar ends...

The bar ends look odd but are a great idea to get maximum riding positions.

...Rohloff 14 speed hub gear in the rear...

Note the custom Rohloff dropouts

...SpeedDrive in the front...

(This combination gave a total gear range of 13 to 133 inches!)

SpeedDrive

... And of course it was fitted with hydraulic disc brakes and a fully automatic lighting system, powered by a SON hub dynamo...

Dynohub, disc and Tubus lowriders...

...and I can’t resist another full picture of the bike so you can once again marvel at its beauty...

Beautiful innit?!
