Dymotec S6 Dynamo
Probably the best bottle dynamo in the world, ever. With a total efficiency of over 55%, when most dynamos can only manage 20%, full light output is reached at only 10km/h, and the drag is amazingly low. With integral current-limiting circuitry, you will never blow a bulb that way again.
Two rollers are supplied - one is the standard rubber one, the other is a patented weatherproof roller using a wire brush instead of the rubber. It will work through any conditions, and is very kind on the tyre. Rollers are, of course, easily replaceable. A small knob adjusts the pressure of the dynamo on the tyre, so you can fine-tune it for maximum efficiency and minimum slip, and a simple push-button releases the dynamo onto the tyre. Connectors are very simple to use, and designed to prevent unintentional disconnection. The case is, of course, made from durable aluminium not plastic. Available in left or right hand versions, for £95. Right-hand version will suit the Brompton.

Dymotec S12 Dynamo
Just released - the 12V version of the S6. The higher voltage means even higher efficiency - you get twice as much power for the same resistance. The S12 puts out 6.2W instead of the standard 3W, so you have much brighter lights with extremely low drag.
Because of the higher voltage, special 12V versions of the front and back lights must be used, and the entire system comes as a kit - the front light is a Lumotec Oval Plus and at the back you have a choice of a DToplight Plus or a Seculite Plus.

Dymotec 6 Dynamo
Very similar in design and appearance to it's more expensive brother, the Dymotec 6 lacks the current-limiting electronics and the weatherproof roller (though it is available as an extra for £6), yet manages 40% efficiency, more than twice as good as other dynamos. It has the same alloy case, the same pressure-adjustment system, and the same connectors, able to handle one or two-wire systems. Available in left or right hand versions, for £32. Right-hand version will suit the Brompton.

All Dymotec dynamos will power any standard dynamo lights (apart from the S12 of course), but they are designed to work with the B&M Lumotec front lights and B&M rear lights.
