Years ago, Riese & Muller made a folding bike called the Frog - it was great fun, but with 12” wheels it was a bit impractical. Now, the Frog is back - with much more useable 16” wheels, a monocoque full-suspension frame just like it’s big brother the Birdy, and 8-speed hub gears.
The Frog, when folded, is 73 x 59 x 26 cms - that’s 28% smaller than a Birdy, and only 18cms longer than a Brompton. It’s got V-brakes, 8-speed Shimano Nexus gears (a Rohloff is possible), and can take mudguards, propstand and a rear carrier.
