Self-inflating Sleeping Mat: The new Ortlieb mattresses are made from a special grade of open-cell foam and a patented abrasion-resistant and anti-slip fabric. The mattresses are waterproof, so they won’t soak up water, they inflate quickly through their large valves, and the surface is very elastic, so it is more resistant to punctures.
