Riese & Muller, the makers of the Birdy folding bike, also make some very good full suspension touring bikes...

Delite Grey - Equipped with the 14 speed Rohloff gearing system, SON lighting and Magura Louise disc brakes...

Delite Black - Hydraulic rim brakes and a choice of a 27 speed derailleur system or 14 speed Rohloff...

Culture Red - With the 14 speed Rohloff hub and fully-enclosed chain drive for touring or reliable commuting...

Culture White - The lightest Culture, with 27-speed derailleurs, V-brakes and hub dynamo lighting...

koga-miyata02

Koga-Miyata are a Dutch-Japanese manufacturer with amazing build quality and attention to detail - we’ve been looking at their bikes for years in Germany, but they now have UK distribution set up ;-)

Infiniti - Koga’s hub-geared and hub-dynamoed fast tourer/commuter...

GlobeTraveller - this is their traditional-looking drop-bar 700c wheel touring bike, with a modern twist...

WorldTraveller - this is the bike for the rough stuff - 26” wheels and a more mountain-bike-like set-up...

Randonneur - with a hand-brazed steel frame, this is how touring bikes are rarely made any more - but with lots of up-to-date features too...

TwinTraveller - Koga’s top-of-the-line tandem - full suspension and it folds as well...

These aren’t the only touring bikes we have - the StreetMachine and GrassHopper recumbents (among others) are also fantastic touring bikes, and the Birdy and Airnimal folders have touring bike versions.

Zwei Plus Zwei from Germany also make interesting tandems, and the Hase Pino is a clever recumbent/upright tandem...

The Important Small Print: All of this website is ©1995-2008 by Kinetics. Don't even think of pinching bits without asking. All prices, specifications and other information are subject to change without notice. I do my best to keep this site correct, but sometimes I get things wrong, and sometimes things change very quickly so I cannot keep up.
