The Kettwiesel makes a very good base for a handbike conversion, and Hase have developed this kit to suit. The stalk is adjustable for height and angle so you can set it to suit you precisely, and it contains a Speed Drive gearing system to give you a wider gear range than standard.

To steer, the stalk pivots from side to side, and it is remarkably manouverable – cornering is better than the lower front-wheel-drive type of handcycles.

The stalk unclips and pivots forwards in seconds – and the seat height is similar to that of a wheelchair, so it’s really easy to get in and out of. I have a demo model in the shop now.
